Certificates are held by the manufacturing partners named on the documents, not by KIDOIR. Each number can be verified with the issuing body — ABCB for WaterMark, the WELS register, IAPMO R&T for cUPC, or the notified body for CE. Validity dates are printed as they appear on each document; where a date has passed, the renewal is confirmed in writing before shipment. Scans are sent with the quotation; they are not published here.
Three details buyers get wrong
Basins are not WELS rated. WELS applies to water-using fixtures — toilets, taps, showers, urinals. The basin itself is not rated; the tap it is paired with is.
Electrical products run on two tracks. A smart toilet needs plumbing approval and an electrical listing. A Bluetooth mirror also needs radio approval. Most listings show only one.
UK and German drinking-water approvals are separate. WRAS and DVGW-KTW apply to components in contact with drinking water — taps and valves, not ceramic bodies.
